Learning to Bloom Logo

PURPOSE

Create a social media account to share my love of flowers and educate other people about the joy of flower arranging. Arranging flower is a passion hobby of mine and social media allows me to connect with all different kinds of people. In each post, I share a tip, trick, inspirational quote, or idea to inspire other people who are interested in arranging their own flowers.

TARGET AUDIENCE

Male and females between 18-40 who live in different parts of the world. These individuals are seeking to find a new hobby and would like to begin arranging flowers. They are interested, but need a little help on knowing how to get started or guidance on some basic flower arranging techniques. They are creative and find job in brightening up their life through nature, beauty, and flowers.  

BRANDING

I developed a brand called Learning to Bloom. Learning to Bloom influences others to find their passion and share it with other people. I designed a logo, brand colors, typography, image style, filters, and writing style for Learning to Bloom. I created my own flower arrangements, studied techniques of taking photos, and edited all photos.  

POSTING

Starting on October 2018, I began posting twice a week for about 10 weeks. While I mainly took my own pictures, I incorporated a few of myself with my flower arrangement designs. As I researched other social media brands, I learned it was important to make my social media page personal so that others could get to know me. 

KEY LEARNINGS

Through this project, I was able to help other people find joy in creating flower arrangements. Learning how to connect with people and teach them through social media influences taught me how to find what was most important to them. Learning to Bloom opened doors for me to see other people find creativity and satisfaction in their own life. Sharing my love of flower arranging taught me to appreciate the beauty all around me, in people and in nature.
